Xiaomi CEO Lei Jun has posted a video where he drops a watermelon from the sixth floor of a building – and it stays intact.
The secret is in a new compound coating said to be “bulletproof” and extremely resistant to impacts and abrasion. The company claims all electric cars it produces feature battery cells treated with the same compound for extra safety.
