Zeekr 009 EV reveals cabin in official photos

China-based automaker Zeekr has posted the first images showing the interior of its upcoming 009 minivan. Highlights include large displays on the dash, headrests with in-built speakers and touchscreens on the rear doors.

The front panel looks similar to the one used in the Zeekr 001. A small joystick fulfils the role of the drive mode selector. The whole cabin makes use of fine white leather, with the seats additionally adorned with some original stitching. Rear seat occupants get a 15.6-inch multimedia display mounted at the ceiling.

The speakers built into the headrests in the first and the second row exist for a more meaningful purpose than just playing back music. A special mode exists that turns them into sound amplifiers for the rear row passengers, letting people sitting in different row to hear each other clearly without shouting.

The sliding doors at the sides come with touch-sensitive panels. Judging by the pictograms, the panels provide controls for opening and closing doors, windows and sun curtains, as well as for adjusting climate control settings. Those in the middle row even take advantage of folding tables.

Zeekr unveiled the 009 two months ago, presenting it as a 5.2-meter-long MPV with 3.2 meters of wheelbase. The all-electric minivan sports a giant chrome trim backlit with numerous LEDs instead of a conventional radiator grille. As far as the specifications are concerned, all we know so far is that the NEDC range amounts to roughly 700 kilometers (435 miles).

We will hopefully learn more on November 1 when the car celebrates its show debut.
