Automobili Estrema has an ambition to take the hypercar market by storm with its gorgeous Fulminea coupe fitted with an innovative hybrid traction battery. A total of 61 units will be made, the company reports.
The vehicle may dethrone even such extreme hyper-EVs as the Aspark Owl and the Lotus Evija when (or if) any of them reach the actual production. Powered by a quad-motor setup rated at 2,040 PS (2,012 hp / 1,500 kW), it will need less than 10 seconds to slam through the 200 mph (320 km/h) barrier.
In addition to the above, Automobili Estrema promises to acquaint the world with an all-new power element configuration that will combine supercapacitors and a solid-state electrolytic battery in a single body. The assembly is expected to be rated at 100 kWh, which would translate into approximately 520 km (323 miles) of WLTP range.
