Neuron EV adds VEGA e-SUV to its (still non-existent) lineup

Neuron EV, an automotive startup based in California, currently pursues several projects at once despite having no finished product to show just yet. A new battery SUV called VEGA joins the list now.

The full-size SUV is said to combine ‘pickup truck levels of strength with the comfort of a passenger car’. Its name stands for ‘Versatile Electric Grand Automobile’.

At the Auto Shanghai show last fall, Neuron EV showcased a truck called TORQ and a modular all-terrain vehicle called T/ONE. The VEGA is supposed to share the tech and chassis with the T/ONE. Whether this also means the same powertrain remains uncertain, but the company does not talk specs anyway. In fact, all we have right now are these early 3D renderings.

Aside from the abovementioned projects, Neuron EV plans include a shuttle minibus named HUB, a self-driving cargo platform MAP, and an unnamed electric bus. Just when (or whether, for that sake) any of these will reach production is anyone’s guess right now.
