AUTO SHOW
Aspark Owl, a Japan-made record-breaking EV, has made its debut in Dubai, UAE. To pump up the hype, the company invited Titan the Robot for the reveal.
The android came on the stage and spent some time conversing with the guests, after which he lifted the wrap off the car, assisted by a few people.
As flashy as Titan looks on the video, there’s simply no overshadowing the Owl itself. the hypercar produces north of 2,000 PS (1,980 hp; 1,475 kW) along with 2,000 Nm (1,475 lb-ft) of torque. This enables it to zap from nothing to 100 km/h (0-62 mph) in as little as 1.69 seconds. The top speed comes close to 400 km/h (250 mph), and the driving range is rather impressive at 450 km (280 miles).
The final production version of the car does look a fair bit different from its concept variant unveiled in 2017. Among other things, the series-ready Owl features an active rear wing that slides out automatically when the car hits 150 km/h (93 mph).
Standard equipment includes LED lighting, satellite navigation, tire pressure control, climate control, steering assist, ESP, ABS, TCS, and more.
