Bentley Bentayga facelift hits assembly lines

Bentley has launched production of its refreshed 2021 Bentayga SUV in Crewe, England following the announcement in late June.

The manufacturer expressed happiness over being able to restore the production volumes to the pre-Covid values, despite the 50% hit they took in the recent months. Apparently, Bentley had to redesign multiple assembly facilities to adjust to the sales drop.

The updated Bentayga looks more like its light passenger car peers: the Continental GT and the Flying Spur. Bentley acknowledges this by referring to the trio as a single family.

Engine options stay unchanged, but the V8 with 550 hp (410 kW) and 770 Nm (568 lb-ft) of torque will be the only option for the next few months, until production reverts to normal.
