Zacoe redefines modern BMW M2 with a styling upgrade
August 21, 2024
Recensione
A month ago, Bugatti sent its ultimate hypercar – the Chiron Pur Sport – out for a series of speed tests to the Bilster Berg raceway in Germany. Today, it finally posted a video of the test run – and it is quite impressive.
Apparently, test driver Sven Bohnhorst was so infatuated with the car he didn’t want to get out of it when the planned test runs were over. These included a single warm-up lap and two all-out laps, followed by a “cooldown” run and return to the boxes.
The limited edition specifically targets racing enthusiasts. The car weighs 50 kg (110 lbs) less than the regular Chiron, benefits from motorsports-oriented suspension and transmission tweaks, and has a Drift Mode. Its eight-liter W16 still churns out 1,500 hp (1,119 kW), but now revs up to 6,900 RPM.
The production of the Bugatti Chiron Pur Sport batch will launch in the second half of 2020 and will be limited to 60 units.
