Feast your eyes on 1 of 30 Bugatti EB 110 Super Sport

This Bugatti EB 110 Super Sport will go on sale in late summer in great condition and is expected to fetch around $3.5 million USD.

Only 139 such supercars came out back in 1991–1995, and only 30 of them were upgraded by 52 metric horsepower to the specification called Super Sport. This example sports a silver body and a black leather trim inside. It was bought by a German customer in 1994, then made it all the way to Japan, and returned to Europe (specifically, Switzerland) a few years later. Despite these journeys, it has barely covered 1,000 kilometers (620 miles).

The Super Sport lineup had the same 3.5-liter, quad-turbo, 60-valve V12 under the hood as the ‘normal’ GT spec, but its power output was boosted to 612 PS (603 hp / 450 kW) from the original 560 PS (552 hp / 412 kW).

Quite unusually for its era, it also had a six-speed manual transmission that drove both of its axles. This arrangement enabled it to reach 97 km/h (60 mph) in 3.3 seconds and ultimately hit 354 km/h (220 mph).

The original Bugatti EB 110 (see video) was the first production car made by the iconic brand after its resurrection in the late 20th century. The letters ‘EB’ stand for ‘Ettore Bugatti’, whose 110th anniversary the company celebrated in 1991.
