Citroеn introduces the С3 for Latin America and India

The Citroen C3 for developing countries will enter production in the local facilities of India and Latin America in the first half of 2022. Pricing and powertrains remain to be announced.

The new model comes based on the European specification of the C3, even though Citroen does not say so outright. The wheelbase is identical between the two, while the body length is 1 cm (0.4 inches) shorter in the new version at 3.98 meters (155.5 inches).

The front fascia shares the design with the latest C4 and C5 X, while the rear is unchanged from the EU-spec C3. The company claims that the cabin is still spacious enough for five people to feel comfortable inside. The driver enjoys a wide angle of view thanks to 180 mm (7 inches) of clearance and a sloping hood.

At 315 liters (11.12 cubic feet), the trunk is 15 liters larger than in the European version. The infotainment display is also quite large for a B-class vehicle at 10 inches across. Smartphones are supported, as well as Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.
