Dacia Duster runs topless in this custom build

Auto K9, a tuner firm from Romania, has finished working on a luxurious convertible based on the affordable Dacia Duster. The conversion took four months and €30,000.

The car no longer has rear doors and boasts fender flares, larger wheels and a cross bar behind the second seat row for added rigidity. It also sports a new radiator grille and fog lamps. The trunk conceals a retractable soft top.

Inside, the seats and dashboard come trimmed with leather, and there is natural wood on the boot lid and the floor. The center console has been reshaped to accommodate a new tablet-like infotainment display.

No engine specs are provided, but it is official that the topless Duster is a one-off project. Having said that, AutoK9 had already carried out a similar conversion before with the Logan sedan as the starting point. Watch the video if you want details.
