Video: 355 by Evoluto roars to life

Back in 2024, UK-based tuning company Evoluto promised us a very special edition of the Ferrari F355 – complete with a high-revving engine, low curb weight and unrivaled track performance. The preorders start in March, but in the meantime, let’s delve into the details.

Starting with the supercar made for the model year 1994, Evoluto rebuilds its 3.5-liter naturally aspirated V8 from the ground up. Once ready, it slams the crank with 420 PS (414 p / 309 kW) and 370 Nm (273 lb-ft) of torque – 40 horsepower and 10 Newton-meters more than stock. It also doesn’t redline until 8,500 RPM, resulting in some of the best soundtracks you will ever hear from a Ferrari – check out the video for a sample.

Those wishing for more oomph will appreciate to know that there’s another version on the list with the block stroked out to 3.7 liters of displacement. This one is reportedly good for 480 PS (473 hp / 353 kW) and 400 Nm (295 lb-ft), as well as 9,000 RPM. As one would expect, this involves lots of heavy-duty forged components and a modern fuel system, just to name a few highlights.

The ride should feel sportier thanks to an all-new R53 Suspension setup, high-end Brembo brakes at all four corners and ultralight bodywork. As a result, the whole thing tips the scales at mere 1,250 kilograms (2,755 pounds) before liquids. That’s around 100 kg (220 lbs) lighter than stock.

Remarkably enough, the interior makes do without a single touchscreen display, yet still somehow accommodates a modern HVAC unit. Evoluto claims it had to replace around 90% of the OEM wiring, but the result is a car that’s both lighter and more responsive than the original.

Only 55 units will be made and offered starting from £595,000 (U.S. $800,000). Although the preorders should open in a few days, actual deliveries will have to wait until at least Q4 2026, the company says.
