Velocity Modern Classics, from Florida, has wrapped up work on a 1968 Ford Mustang. Large-scale restoration projects like this one tend to take years, but this one was complete in mere 14 weeks. It helped that VMC employs over 100 technicians and mechanics.
The muscle car ended up with fully rebuilt and finished anew in a smoky shade of blue. Fox coilovers made it into the suspension, a bespoke exhaust system was made specifically for the project, and a 5.0-liter Ford Coyote V8 slotted under the hood. The company never specified the output, but mentioned a ten-speed automatic transmission carrying the torque to the wheels.
A complete interior overhaul rounded off the restoration effort with a Focal audio system, a Vintage Air AC, Dakota Digital gauges and other premium options. The pricing details haven’t been revealed.
