Sleek Ford Mustang restomod will set you back $330k

Florida-based tuning shop Velocity has unveiled a modern convertible project based on the Ford Mustang 1967. Orders start from $329,000, which includes $30,000 for the power-assisted droptop.

Aside from a delightfully styled retro body, the ‘Stang boasts 17-inch wheels shod in Continental Extreme Contact Sport 02 tires, has LED lights all around and vents in the hood. The pinstripes seen here are optional.

Procar bucket seats, quality leather trim, Vintage Air HVAC and a digital dashboard masquerading as an analog one sum up the main interior mods. Velocity works with Mustang convertibles from the start, but takes care to replace both the droptop and its mechanism with more convenient modern counterparts. The top is available in multiple colors so you can pick the best match for your exterior and cabin.

Power for the restomod is provided by a 5.0-liter Ford Coyote V8. It churns out a healthy 466 PS (460 hp / 343 kW) along with up to 569 Nm (420 lb-ft) of torque, and you get to choose between six-speed manual and ten-speed automatic for the transmission. In either case, the whole chassis is sourced from the experts over at Roadster Shop, so precise handling and modern sports car dynamics are guaranteed.
