Automaker GAC has announced the impending production of Hyper HT, an all-electric coupe-like SUV set to reach the market with the Aion badge on it. Judging by the pics, one of its biggest visual cues will be Tesla Model X-style doors (watch the video if you would like to compare).
The manufacturer has yet to reveal any technical specifications, but the launch isn’t that far away – it is planned for November 2023.
Other than the falcon-wing doors, the Hyper HT resembles the BMW X6 Coupe more than it does the Model X. It comes loaded with all sorts of cameras, sensors and driving assists. While not official, the media in China speculate that it could ship with a single electric motor rated at 340 PS (335 hp / 250 kW) and 430 Nm (321 lb-ft) of torque. The battery range could amount to 600 km (373 miles). At least, these are the parameters of the rumored base spec; there could be others.
