Zacoe redefines modern BMW M2 with a styling upgrade

Great Wall Motors already has a handful of standalone car brands, and things promise to get even more interesting with the expansion of the company’s pickup truck lineup. The latest example would be the X Cannon Concept that just debuted at the Shanghai show.
The production version of the car should emerge before the end of the year. The prototype reminds us a lot about the recently revealed Tank 800 (see video), so the two models could be technically related. Unfortunately, the company still hasn’t revealed such important specs as the towing weight capacity, cargo bed capacity, and others.
What we do know is that the X Cannon rides on dual-wishbone air-cushioned suspension with adaptive shocks and ride height variable in 120mm (4.7”) range. Its 3.0-liter turbocharged six-pot churns out 354 PS (349 hp / 260 kW) and 500 Nm (369 lb-ft) of torque through a nine-speed automatic transmission. A hybrid version is also expected to emerge with a single electric motor built into the transmission for 750 Nm (553 lb-ft) of maximum torque.
