Camera-wielding car spies have tracked down an early example of the fifth-generation Hyundai Santa Fe.
Compared to its current design iteration (see video), the new SUV looks drastically different with a boxy, rugged and muscular body style. Having said that, the technical aspects will probably stay the same: transversely mounted engine, FWD as the default drive type, and on-demand AWD implemented with a coupling on the rear axle – this is a crossover, not a full-fledged off-roader.
The premiere is expected sometime in H2 2023.
