German motorhome maker Greenboats has released a new version of its AWD expedition truck, the Greenlander Sherpa. It comes with mechanical and living space improvements, offering a home away from home for the adventurous among us.
Based on the Iveco Daily chassis, the truck provides accommodation for up to four people. It retains the original’s 3.0-liter diesel engine rated at 176 PS (174 hp / 129 kW). A six-speed manual transmission sends the power to the wheels, and the driver gets part-time AWD for difficult off-road conditions.
The living area incorporates a queen-size bed with a storage box underneath, a fully equipped kitchen with a sink, a stove and a fridge, and all creature comforts you can ask for. The fresh water tank holds 110 liters, but you can order additional 70-liter tanks to suit your needs. The used water tank holds 70 liters, too. A climate control system and a 5G router on board draw power from a 200-Ah battery pack.
Driving the off-roader over rough terrain is made easier thanks to ABS, ESP and hill climb assist included in the standard spec. The company also specifically points out off-road tires sized 265/70 R19.5 and 255 mm (10 inches) of ground clearance.
All pricing is upon request only.
