Tuning auto
Zyrus Engineering has rolled out another engineering marvel. Called the LP1200 Strada, it is a Lamborghini Huracan LP640-4 packing nearly twice the power.
The stock car – if the term “stock” should apply to such vehicles at all – uses a naturally aspirated 5.2-liter V10 that links to a seven-speed semi-auto transmission. The nominal output is estimated at 640 PS (631 hp / 471 kW).
The track weapon made by Zyrus features 600 custom-made components and a dedicated drive mode selector that supports City and Track modes. The former offers 900 PS (888 hp / 662 kW) and the latter 1,200 PS (1,183 hp / 882 kW), virtually doubling the stock output.
The Norwegian tuner accomplishes this by replacing the turbos, the exhaust manifold and a plethora of other things. The exhaust system itself is made of titanium alloy, and the new body kit uses parts borrowed from the Zyrus LP1200 R racer.
Prices begin from €595,000, and all interested buyers are invited for a track day test drive.
