Latvian car customizer Dartz, mostly known for its armored vehicles for the obscenely rich, has announced a new entry in its Prombron lineup. It is inspired by the legendary Lamborghini LM002, rides on Urus underpinnings and starts from €2,500,000.
All technical details are pending. Dartz points out that every vehicle will feature a custom body made from carbon fiber and composites. The Urus powertrain will stay stock, although it remains to be seen what version of the SUV will be used as the donor. They all use turbocharged V8s, but the output differs.
There are no images, either. The announcement is accompanied by several photos, but they show one of the older vehicles from the Prombron range. Carscoops reports that the metadata in the photos suggests they were made 13 years ago. Then again, we wouldn’t be too surprised if the exterior design of the Iron Diamond turned out the same or very similar.
In keeping with the theme of the announcement, Dartz has neglected to specify how many pickups will be made. Lamborghini stopped producing the V8-powered Urus lineup last summer and is currently working on a hybrid replacement, the release date of which is unknown.
