Ultra-rare Lamborghini Miura crops up on sale again

Mecum Auctions will attempt to find a new owner for this 54-year-old Lamborghini Miura P400 SV on May 16, 2026. Touted by the seller as unique, it is a fully restored, low-mileage example poised to fetch north of $4,000,000.

The Italian company produced only 150 such supercars in the early 1970s. The listing claims that this example was the only one finished in this particular shade of blue with golden accents and white leather interior. It was apparently also one of the few examples to have been fitted with an air conditioner.

A 3.9-liter, quad-carburetor V12 sends 385 PS (380 hp / 283 kW) to the rear wheels via a five-speed manual transmission. Air-cooled brake rotors and per-wheel suspension at all four corners are also mentioned under features.

This isn’t the first time this particular Miura finds a new home. In fact, it went for $3.6 million just three years ago. Nevertheless, more recent examples have since traded hands for close to $4.5 million, so we expect a higher price for it these days. It should help that it’s also one of the less used examples with only 1,516 kilometers (942 miles) on the odometer.
