U.S.-based electric car manufacturer Lucid has dropped the prices of its Air EV by $10,650–12,400 depending on the specification, Reuters reports.
Specifically, the Lucid Air Pure AWD now starts from just $82,400 instead of $92,900. Furthermore, the destination fee has been lowered from $1,650 to $1,500, so the total discount sums up to $10,650.
The Touring version now costs $95,000 instead of $107,400. The Grand Touring, which packs multiple e-motors and makes 1,065 PS (1,050 hp / 783 kW), can be obtained from $125,600 – a sizable discount from the launch price of $138,000.
The range-topping, 1200-hp Air Sapphire still costs $249,000. However, Lucid plans to launch a new affordable Air spec soon that will have its drive on the rear axle and start from $77,400. Last but not least, the subscription service will cost less for those opting into them before the end of the current month.
