Meet Vision Rapida, a car that exists just for the looks

Turin-based Istituto Europeo di Design (IED) has unveiled its latest automotive concept, a compact sports car named the Vision Rapida.

Brought to life by a team of students supervised by such renowned ateliers as Italdesign and Scuderia Torino, it is a life-sized mock-up of a car lacking an interior or drivetrain. It exudes classic JDM vibes and is sized 4,510 x 1,860 x 1,280 mm (176 x 72.6 x 50 inches) large with 2.8 meters (109.4 inches) between the axles.

Once complete, the Vision Rapida will tour all kinds of auto shows and events.
