The famous toy car maker has unveiled its latest creation, and it’s the real deal this time around. The Mercedes-Benz CLA sedan seen here wears a DTM-inspired aero kit and livery and will soon be available as a scale replica.
At the same time, the real car seen here will remain a one-off. It features a rather prominent body kit with a front splitter almost touching the ground, an oversized rear diffuser that adds quite a bit to its total length, and a downright gargantuan rear wing. An energetic blue-and-pink livery is accompanied by a fancy rose-tinted glass dome.
The scale model will go on sale next spring in a 1:64 size. According to Hot Wheels and Mercedes-Benz, the only reason they decided to build the full-size car was to remind us all about the “limitless fantasy of the childhood”, the time when “cars invite you to dream.”
