This vintage MINI makes its best Lotus Esprit Turbo impression

David Brown Automotive, a car workshop specializing in Mini restoration and modding, has unveiled its latest project dedicated to turning one of the classical cars into the iconic Lotus Esprit Turbo starring in the 12th instalment in the James Bond movie franchise.

The Mini Remastered boasts the same Copper Glow as its source of inspiration, and sports stylish Fade-to-Black wheel arches. Its wheels measure only 13 inches in diameters, and the front bumper carries triple headlamps alongside LED lights.

The inner space of the small hatchback benefits from a generous application of leather and Alcantara, and a modern 7-inch infotainment display is installed.

The restomod comes powered by its stock engine good for 95 hp (71 kW) and 118 Nm (87 lb-ft) of torque, and the transmission is four-speed manual.

The project costs amounted to £70,000, David Brown Automotive reports.
