Haval Raptor gets a facelift mere months after debut

Haval has unexpectedly updated its Raptor SUV after several months of sales. Let’s have a look at this new version.

The biggest changes were made in the off-road features department. For one, the car wound up with 21 mm of added ground clearance, for a total of 221 mm (8.63 inches). It also means it’s 21 mm taller now – 1,843 mm (72 inches) tall, to be specific.

The maximum wading depth has increased to 580 mm (22.66 inches). The approach and departure angles now amount to 25 and 32 degrees, respectively (up from 24 and 30 degrees).

Trim-wise, you can now go for an orange or dark grey exterior finish and consider a black-and-white interior. The base trim level now includes 19-inch wheels as standard, while the higher levels come loaded with new and improved electronic assists.

Haval also mentions making 22 powertrain improvements, but doesn’t disclose any specifics. The power and torque numbers remain the same.
