You can own this murdered-out Ford Bronco for $214k

U.S.-based Kindred Motorworks opened preorders for an exclusive restomod known as the Bronco Black ICE Edition on Black Friday. Driving a classic SUV in a modern wrap does come cheaply – it costs $214,000 – but the company has many more expensive vehicles listed on its website.

Overall, the menacing new Bronco is identical to the Trail Edition from the same tuner (see video). Aside from an all-black exterior, it has new 18-inch wheels from Method, special badges all around and natural wood accents in the cabin.

All power comes courtesy of a 5.0-liter naturally aspirated Ford Coyote V8. It sends 466 PS (460 hp / 343 kW) to all four wheels via a 10-speed automatic transmission. Extreme Duty axles, two differentials and a transfer case ensure it performs well in off-road conditions, should any of the buyers prove crazy enough to actually swerve off the grid.

Only five such Broncos will be made. Kindred Motorworks’ other projects include Luxe-GT, which starts around $400,000, and other high-end restomods priced all the way to $800,000, so this one almost looks like a bargain in comparison.
