American-faced, engine-swapped Nissan 240SX goes on sale

Mecum is looking for a buyer interested in this 1995 240SX in Florida right now. The car wears a body kit that makes it look a bit like a Dodge Challenger Hellcat and will remain available through January 18, 2026.

The aero kit in question is the second-gen Rocket Bunny Boss, a typical JDM package featuring bolt-on flares and skirts, a front splitter, a rear diffuser and a giant ducktail spoiler for the trunk lid. The front bumper looks inspired by the retro Dodges, but there seems to be a pinch of the 1970 Plymouth Barracuda in the mix, too.

This build isn’t all about show, either. Rather than make do with its stock four-pot, the car rocks an LS2 V8 from General Motors. The six-liter mill takes advantage of new shafts, valves and other performance components to deliver up to 527 PS (520 hp / 388 kW) and 691 Nm (510 lb-ft) of torque at the crank. Height-adjustable air-ride suspension and a performance exhaust system round off the list of technical upgrades.

The interior still mostly lingers in 1995, but benefits from a custom steering wheel, a new shifter and a tall handbrake lever. The latter makes us suspect this particular 240SX of having a drift car past that the listing somehow failed to mention. The agile Japanese coupe is quite good at sliding into corners, as the above video demonstrates.
