Opel’s first GSE concept heads to IAA Munich

The German automaker’s first sports car from its promising GSE lineup will be fully revealed at the 2025 IAA Mobility Expo in Munich, Germany. In the meantime, here are a couple of teaser pics.

To say they reveal very little would be putting it mildly. There isn’t even a hint at what kind of body the car has. All we know is that it is painted in a bright yellow with sporty silver accents, which is in line with the design language of the company’s recently established performance vehicle division.

According to rumors, the car will be fully electric. It has a squared-off steering wheel and fairly laconic styling, so we expect the cabin to be stripped clean. A roll cage is also high on our list of expectations.

It’s unclear whether the show car has any serious production prospects, but we suppose its main goal is to make the customers aware of Opel’s GSE sub-brand.
