Pininfarina rolls out the Battista Targamerica roadster

The Pininfarina Battista Targamerica is a one-off topless supercar produced for a V.I.P. customer who already had a Battista coupe in their garage (see video).

The company started by removing the roof and slightly redesigning the rear end. Blue accents were added to contrast against the car’s silver body while reminding us that this is, in fact, an EV.

Many new things were implemented in the cabin at the request of the owner. These included black and brown leather trim, Pininfarina logos in the form of a stylized letter “F” on the headrests, and a set of matching travel bags.

Perhaps the most interesting feature is an added cigarette holder with a humidor, an option Pininfarina designed specifically for this one car. The casing is made of aluminum and glass and fits three cigars. It even has a backlight that lights up in one of the five available colors determined by the current drive mode (Calma, Pura, Energica, Furiosa, or Carattere).

From the technical viewpoint, it’s still a stock Battista model running on four electric motors. The powertrain originates from Rimac Nevera and sends 1,900 PS (1,874 hp / 1,397 kW) to the wheels while developing up to 2,340 Nm (1,726 lb-ft) of torque. This makes it Italy’s most powerful supercar in history. It hits 100 km/h (62 mph) in under two seconds and can ultimately exceed 300 km/h (186 mph).
