Rolls-Royce Silver Shadow gains muscle in EV form

Evice, a UK-based tuning company founded last year, has unveiled a fairly ambitious project based on the classic Rolls-Royce Silver Shadow saloon. The car wound up with an all-electric powertrain capable of fast charging and a general overhaul.

We were unable to find any mentions of the origins of the motor and the battery. What we do know is that the new setup sends 400 PS (394 hp / 294 kW) to the wheels – more than twice as much as the original was capable of in its best years. The battery has 77 kilowatt-hours is usable capacity and is integrated into an 800V power grid for speedy charging. The range is being estimated at 322 km (200 miles).

Elsewhere, the vintage ride features modern heated/ventilated seats, a climate control system and a modern audio system. Evice says you can opt for a reversing camera and other things like that if you wish.

The catch is that only one prototype of the car exists at the moment. It has completed all of its preliminary tests and is getting ready to hit the public roads this autumn, but mass production of these EVs won’t begin until 2026.
