Zacoe redefines modern BMW M2 with a styling upgrade
August 21, 2024
Recensione
For the first time in its history, Skoda will be shipping its next-gen Superb liftback with LED Matrix headlights and dynamic rear turn blinkers. The update will premiere later this month.
Based on the latest video from the Czech carmaker, the vehicle gets headlights divided into individually controllable segments. The headlight control unit receives its data from a video camera mounted on the windshield. It then adjusts the light flow dynamically depending on ambient light, visibility conditions, and presence of oncoming cars on the road.
The new Superb also gets LED-based anti-fog lights.
As for the taillights, the turn blinkers are now dynamic. This means that they have bright yellow LED stripes inside running in the outward direction to draw attention to the fact that the car is turning. There is also a ‘greeting’ animation now: whenever you unlock the car, the entire car lights up for a brief moment.
In earlier news, it was made official that the new Skoda Superb would be available with the same hybrid powertrain as the Volkswagen Passat GTE, incorporating a 1.4-liter turbo engine and an electric motor.
