Suzuki Jimny gets stylized after the Land Cruiser FJ for cheap

Japanese styling kit vendor ill Garage has devised a new visual package for the Suzuki Jimny. It’s called CH:AMP and makes the petite SUV look like a downsized copy of the Toyota Land Cruiser FJ.

Modifications begin at the front end, which boasts rectangular headlight units, a matching radiator grille and a two-part bumper. All these new components are primarily finished in black to go along with the flared fenders and the contrasting roof, while the rest of the body is offset in yellow. The wheels and tires are also new, and the suspension is 38 mm (1.5 inches) lower than standard.

All pricing info has already been released, and honestly, CH:AMP looks like a steal. The headlights are on the pricier side with $2,300 for a halogen version and $2,500 for a LED one, but that’s more of an exception. The lowering springs come in at $360, and towing hooks will set you back just $640. If you are fine with not venturing too far off road, you may get imitation hooks instead for $320.

Baja-style fog lamps add $1,100 to the total. A slightly better protected rear bumper comes in at $860, and a sporty muffler costs $430. Last but not least, $560 gets you a full set of retro seat covers for the cabin. Note that all prices are converted from Japanese Yen to USD at the current rate and do not include any shipping, painting or installation costs.
