Tesla Model 3 & Y debut as high-camber lowriders

Japanese tuning company T-Demand believes that you don’t need another body kit to lend your boring Tesla Model 3 or Y a pinch of individuality: new suspension, brakes and wheels present a more creative way to stand out.

Extreme negative camber surely is a matter of taste, but for better or worse, it’s guaranteed to get you noticed. The Model Y depicted here boasts a set of 21-inch alloy wheels with a 5.5-degree camber. Its sedan companion is even wilder with 20-inch wheels mounted at 8 degrees front and 9 degrees rear.

To keep the EVs firmly planted, the tuner suggests also purchasing special stretched tires, performance brakes and an air-ride suspension kit with new arms. It includes ProDamper Airsus cushions and gives you just three ride height presets to choose from, but the lowest setting almost scrapes the ground, so it should be enough.

Converted into U.S. dollars, the air-ride parts alone come in at $5,400. The suspension arms add $8,400 to the total, and the brakes add $8,900. It’s unclear how much the wheel/tire package is and whether any of these upgrades are available outside of Japan.
