The formidable AAR-Toyota Eagle HF89 is on sale now.
Toyota and the team of All American Racers built four such vehicles for the IMSA championship back in late ‘80s. This particular example took part in many races and was fully restored in late 2010s. The work had cost the owner around $800,000.
A look inside the engine bay reveals a 2.14-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine borrowed from the track-only Celica GTO. Rumor has it this engine produced up to 800 PS (789 hp / 588 kW) with all the modifications and tuning. A five-speed manual gearbox by Hewland conveyed the momentum to the rear axle.
