The 2025 Toyota Corolla Cross has gone on sale in the United States, and you can now order it in a flashy new shade called Soul Red Crystal.
You may have noticed that Mazda offers the same color with its cars. It’s not a coincidence: both companies produce their vehicles at the Mazda Toyota Manufacturing site in Alabama. The Corolla Cross shares the assembly line with the Mazda CX-50, which is also obtainable in this shade of red.
Toyota simply points out that it wanted “unification and optimization” when it decided to borrow Soul Red Crystal from Mazda’s palette.
