This 26-year-old Toyota Supra looks like prime tuning material

Finding a completely stock A80 Supra in good condition can be extremely hard nowadays, but this one – which is up for grabs in the USA right now – looks like it fits the bill.

The Super White sports coupe saw the daylight in 1995 and stayed with the same owner since 2000. It still features its original paintjob, has 17-inch staggered-width wheels with a chrome finish, and wears BFGoodrich G-Force Sport Comp-2 tires sized 235/45 and 255/40 front/rear.

Granted, a closer look reveals that the Supra is neither pristine nor fully OEM. Despite having been unused for the past 15 years, it still has around 130,000 kilometers (82,000 miles) on its odometer. Aftermarket parts include a Super Power Flow air filter and an HKS blow-off valve. As for the brake pads and rotors, the rear wheel ball bearings and the radiator, these have all been repaired using original parts. The legendary 2JZ twin-turbo is still present under the hood, maintained and in excellent condition.

The bidding has already reached U.S. $65,000 with three days remaining. You could buy a factory-new A90 Supra for roughly two-thirds of that price, but a BMW-sourced four-pot would never give you quite the thrust or the tuning potential of the good old 2JZ.
