Volvo EX60 revealed with full specs and pricing

Volvo has finally shed light on its mid-size electric SUV, the EX60. Billed as the first production car based on the electric-only SPA3 platform, it is slated to reach production this spring and go on sale in the summer, but you can already preorder one in Germany from just under €63,000.

The newcomer is 4,803 mm (187.6 inches) long, 1,899 mm (74.2 inches) wide and 1,635 mm (63.9 inches) tall with 2,970 mm (116 inches) between the axles and 182 mm (7.1 inches) of ground clearance. Wheels come in sizes ranging from 20 to 22 inches. A Cross Country package will be available with rugged plastic body kit parts, air-ride suspension and up to 234 mm (9.1 inches) of adjustable clearance.

Inside, the digital dash measures 11.4 inches corner-to-corner and the infotainment display is 15 inches large. The audio system comes from Bose and comprises 21 speakers, but you can opt for a more upscale Bowers & Wilkins set of as many as 28 speakers. Google’s Gemini AI assistant and other connected services are also included.

The trunk fits 523 liters (18.47 cubic feet) of luggage and can be expanded to 1,647 liters (58.16 cubic feet) by folding the seats. A frunk adds another 58 liters (2 cu. ft.).

There are three powertrains to choose from. The base spec drives the rear axle with 374 PS (369 hp / 275 kW) and 480 Nm (354 lb-ft) of torque. It gets up to 620 kilometers (385 miles) of range per the European WLTP standard.

A superior AWD spec makes 510 PS (503 hp / 375 kW) and 710 Nm (524 lb-ft) of torque with two motors. The flagship spec outputs 680 PS (671 hp / 500 kW) and 790 Nm (583 lb-ft), sprinting from zero to 100 km/h (62 mph) in 3.9 seconds. It can also be optioned with the largest battery of all, a 117-kWh pack rated for 810 km (503 miles) WLTP.

Going for a maxed-out flagship will set you back €78,790 in Germany. The Cross Country version starts from €68,990, but won’t be available until next year.
