The renowned Italian coachbuilder has posted the first teaser image of a new car it plans to release under its own branding. It’s a coupe with gull-wing doors and what the company describes as “analog character.”
The deliveries are planned for the first half of 2026, so let’s take a closer look in the meantime. The darkened image doesn’t reveal much aside from the doors, the front fenders and the side mirrors mounted on thin stalks. Lightening the shadows manually in a photo editing app reveals much more, including the front bumper with headlights, the hood with an air intake and what looks like a trio of analog dash gauges in front of the driver’s seat.
All technical specifications remain secret. Considering the promises of “analog character”, we would expect a rather traditional powertrain – something like a naturally aspirated V8 or even V12. Capricorn Engineering will handle the design and the production, which is expected to be limited to just 19 units.
The full reveal will take place in Belgium in October, Zagato says.
