Zenvo puts more polish on the Aurora two years after launch

Niche automaker Zenvo announced its Aurora hypercar in the summer 2023, promising to ship it with the world’s most powerful street-legal V12 ever. The final version of the car has now made its first public appearance at the Goodwood Festival of Speed – and it looked considerably different from the first concept pics.

As you may remember, there are two modifications of the Zenvo Aurora – the street-legal Tur and the track-only Agil. Only the former has been modified so far. Based on the photos, it ended up with a slightly longer rear end complete with a new diffuser, exhaust system and brake lights. It also wound up with a new hood cover at the front. Zenvo never revealed the reasoning behind these changes, but presented the new appearance as “more refined and thought-out”, so it could be just a matter of taste.

The Aurora Tur features a quad-motor powertrain comprising a 6.6-liter V12 with 1,267 PS (1,250 hp / 932 kW) and a trio of electric motors. Their combined output comes to 1,876 PS (1,850 hp / 1,380 kW), letting the coupe snap off the starting line and hit 100 km/h (62 mph) in dizzying 2.3 seconds.

The track-focused Aurora Agil is expected to arrive later with just one e-motor instead of three, 1,470 PS (1,450 hp / 1,081 kW) and an extreme aero package.

Back in April, Zenvo revealed that the V12 for the car had been co-designed with Mahle and called Mjolnir after the famous hammer wielded by Scandinavian thunder god Thor. Only 100 examples of the Aurora are in the production queue, with the deliveries planned for 2026 and later.
