New Alfa Romeo Stelvio shows up in patent pics

Alfa Romeo has patented the second generation of its Stelvio SUV.

The company had previously posted images of camouflaged SUVs running winter tests, and the new images show basically the same car. It stays true to the company’s design DNA with lots of triangular elements all around, but looks more aggressive on the whole.

The new Stelvio is based on the STLA Large unibody platform by Stellantis. It is expected to be available in ICE and electrified flavors.
