German tuning company Osenstätter has turned the latest Audi RS3 into Heritage Edition, an exclusive and fan-focused ride inspired by the car that won the Sanremo Rally of 1985. Only three examples will be made.
Piloted by Walter Röhrl, an Audi Sport quattro S1 with the starting number 5 didn’t just win the race – it set a new benchmark for a lightweight all-wheel-drive car. Its ideological successor seen here features a vinyl wrap, illuminated side sills, black exhaust tips and low suspension. It also comes equipped with a front spoiler, canards and side mirror covers made from carbon fiber. 19-inch OZ Ultraleggera HLT wheels fill out the arches.
The interior sports red accents and a serial number plaque, if little besides. The engine bay houses Audi’s 2.5-liter turbo V5 dialed up to 460 PS (454 hp / 338 kW) and 540 Nm (398 lb-ft) of torque. Sprinting from zero to 100 km/h (62 mph) is a matter of 3.6 seconds with this tune-up.
