Audi RS e-tron GT spawns a special edition

Audi Exclusive has unveiled the project_513/2, its latest take on the all-electric RS e-tron GT. Inspired by and dedicated test vehicles, the novelty looks like one with its wrap and engravings. Despite these, it is a finalized production car slated to go on sale in the USA soon.

The main differences from the stock RS e-tron GT are purely stylistic. There is a ‘test mule’ wrap in the company’s signature grey and red shades, new 21-inch wheels and the name of the modification engraved on the rear windows. Last but not least, it is the first Audi in production to ever wear red badges to the street.

The same color accents can be found inside the cabin along with carbon-fiber trim bits sporting the same ‘camo’ pattern as the exterior. The infotainment system stays the same, but gets a new UI theme.

Carbon roof and side mirrors, LED Matrix headlights and carbon-ceramic brakes with red calipers are all included in the standard spec.

The special edition was designed for Audi USA and will be coming in a production run limited to just 75 units. The starting price will be $182,000, roughly $40,000 above the stock entry-level RS.

The original Audi e-tron GT debuted last February. Its RS modification landed with stronger motors joining efforts for 646 PS (637 hp / 475 kW) and 850 Nm (627 lb-ft) of torque. It can sprint 0-100 km/h (0-62 mph) in 3.3 seconds.
