Avatr launches its first sedan in China

The fully electric Avatr 06 is already available for ordering from 191,900 Yuan.

The premium automaker’s cheapest vehicle so far is 4,855 mm (189.7 inches) long, 1,960 mm (76.6 inches), 1,450 mm (56.6 inches) tall and has 2,940 mm (114.9 inches) between the axles. It comes in two main versions – serial hybrid and BEV.

The former uses a single 343-PS (338-hp / 252-kW) motor at the rear axle and a 1.5-liter engine burning petrol to generate electricity. The engine delivers 156 PS (154 hp / 115 kW), but it doesn’t go to the wheels. Instead, it charges up a 31.7-kWh battery on board that grants up to 170 km (105 miles) of all-electric range once full.

The Avatr 06 BEV can be optioned with the same 343-PS electric motor or two motors mounted one per axle. The latter configuration is good for 598 PS (550 hp / 410 kW). CLTC ranges can vary from 600 to 650 km (373–404 miles) depending on your chosen version.
