Bugatti pours champagne into carbon bottles because it is high-class like that

Bugatti and the winemakers from Champagne Carbon have produced a limited batch of EB.03 Edition champagne celebrating the launch of the Bolide, one of the French automaker’s most sophisticated hypercars. To drive the point home, the wine was bottled into specially designed carbon-fiber bottles.

The bottle’s bright blue color leaves the carbon weave exposed for added eye candy effect, while assorted white highlights resemble the Bolide headlamps. Genuine silver is also used.

The champagne itself is from a 2013 Blanc de Blancs grape harvest, and considered best with red tuna sashimi or sea-scallop ceviche.

Prices and production quality have not been revealed.

This is not the first time Bugatti teams up with wineries. The EB.01 wine series in particular was dedicated to the company’s 110th anniversary, while the EB.02 celebrated the launch of the Chiron Super Sport 300+. In last November, the company presented a 15-liter bottle with an original case it created exclusively for the owner of the one-off La Voiture Noire hypercar.
