Check out a 30-year-old Buick Roadmaster with loads of power of spare

A unique 1992 Buick Roadmaster eight-seater is on sale on BaT right now with the bidding barely past $30,000 and three days remaining. The car was refurbished with some modern creature comforts added and swapped to a wild Chevy engine.

The owner refreshed the exterior with its signature woodgrain panels and put a new 6.2-liter LS3 V8 into the engine bay. A four-speed A/T sends 436 PS (430 hp / 321 kW) to the rear wheels. You can watch the tiny attached video to get an idea what it sounds like.

Inside, the second and third seat rows are benches, and the one in the back is reversed for practicality reasons. There are convenient grips at the d-pillars and a modern HVAC on board. The tailgate can swing up as usual or down like the truck bed gate.

The license plate honestly says ‘Barge’, and while we are inclined to agree it is no small car, it is also nowhere near as sluggish as any barge around here. Nice work!
