Thanks to the China Ministry of Industry, we now know that Cadillac is preparing to launch a crossover SUV on that market called the GT4.
Judging by the images, the car has slim headlights. AutoHome adds that it is essentially a high-riding hatchback based on the Cadillac XT4 (see video) with plenty of the American marque’s design traits preserved. The radiator grille and the placement of the headlights and taillights, among other things, are typically Cadillac.
The interior remains a mystery, but AutoHome believes it to be similar to that of the Lyriq EV. For the time being, the GT4 will reportedly only ship with gasoline engines, including a 1.5-liter base engine rated at 204 PS (201 hp / 150 kW) and a 2.4-liter turbo-four top spec good for 230 PS (227 hp / 169 kW).
The market debut is scheduled for the second half of 2023.
