Chery’s Omoda sub-brand has been complemented with a new crossover SUV named simply the ‘3’. According to AutoHome, the vehicle is related to the previously patented Chery Tiggo 3x (see video) and meant for an international release.
In its official photos, the Omoda 3 has a bezel-free honeycomb grille and two-tier headlights with slim upper elements.
While the exterior boasts sporty orange accents, the cabin is trimmed in a calming combination of white and blue. The steering wheel is squared off and the HVAC pad is rather compact. A 10.25-inch center display provides access to the infotainment functions. Omoda emphasizes that the UI supports a host of languages, including even Arabic.
Rumor has it the Omoda 3 will ship with a 1.5-liter engine capable of 116 PS (114 hp / 85 kW) and 143 Nm (105 lb-ft) of torque.
