Chevrolet announces a trio of exclusive cars for America’s 250th birthday

The United States of America are celebrating 250 years of independence next year, while Chevrolet is celebrating its 115th anniversary. To make both dates memorable, the automaker will be releasing multiple limited editions based on the C8 Corvette and multiple Colorado and Silverado truck variants.

Starting with the sports car, it will be delivered in a black-and-white finish with patriotic body graphics, gloss-black wheels and red brake calipers. Those who really like to stand out will be able to request carbon-trimmed wheels instead of just black.
The interior can be either red with blue accents or the other way around. Only 250 examples will be made.

In turn, the Colorado pickup will get a similar patriotic livery, 20-inch gloss-black wheels and red towing eyes. The base model here is the large Trail Boss Crew Cab, and some options listed as extra will be preinstalled in the special edition.

As for the Silverado, it will be offered in three distinct configurations – RST Crew Car Short Box (gasoline), LTZ Crew Cab Trail Boss 4WD (diesel) and RST Crew Cab EV (all-electric). All three will be trimmed to the top spec, and customers will still be able to order additional packages, like Trailer Assist, at their discretion.

The anniversary collection is called Stars & Steel. All prices are pending.
