DarwinPro’s take on the flamboyant Ferrari 296 GTS is certainly an acquired taste, as it makes the car look cheaper than OEM.
It consists of what looks like gloss-black plastic parts – a front apron with a splitter, side sill extensions and a rear diffuser with integrated taillights. It can be argued that the plasticky sheen detracts from the splendor of a Ferrari Fed body, and those dual-five-spoke wheels don’t help much.
The power is still sourced from a V6-based hybrid system capable of 830 PS (819 hp / 610 kW) and 740 Nm (546 lb-ft) of torque. The 296 GT Spyder only needs 2.9 seconds to throw itself from zero to 100 km/h (62 mph).
