It is only rarely that we get to see tuned cars as exciting as this 1999 Ferrari F355 Berlinetta. It would be criminal not to tell you about one of Mitchell Button’s more recent creations.
The first thing that catches the eye is the widebody kit reminiscent of Super GT vehicles of early 2000s. The wide fenders have gill-like openings to help the brakes cool down faster, the skirts are longer, and the splitter, diffuser, and rear wing are so gigantic, it seems a miracle that they still somehow look a good fit on the vehicle.
This is far from all, though. A closer look reveals dozens of other expertly made body modifications. Another major highlight comes in the shape of the ‘aged’ Azzuro la Plata Blau wrap by Impressive Wrap. The color is a reference to the Ferrari Scaglietti that partook of the Le-Mans and many other racing events in 1964-1966.
The interior notably houses a roll cage, six-point safety harnesses, carbon-fiber seats, and an ultramodern digital dashboard.
Wrapping things up is a performance upgrade for the 3.5-liter V8. Dual Echo Series Xona XR5455 turbochargers persuade the elderly mill to output 600 hp (447 kW) instead of the usual 380 hp (283 kW).
